Store DocuSign docs, Zoom improvements and more with this week’s updates

It’s update time!

We’re always working on our tools to be sure that they are doing what’s expected of them – and more. 

Recently, we made some updates to our DocuSign Connection, Order to Contact, Zoom and Typeform Connection tools. 

Here are the key updates to know about: 

DocuSign Connection

– Save completed documents directly to contact record

Order to Contact

–  Apply a tag once the tool has been executed

Typeform Connection

– Resolved error when the option “other” is selected, now pushes appropriate configurations

Zoom Connection

– Include minimum meeting duration to reduce incorrect reporting during testing

DocuSign Connection

Prior to this update, only certain sections of the document could be saved directly to the contact record. Now, you’re able to have the entire document saved after it’s been completed. 

This can be selected in the Save Responses section of configuration.

Order to Contact

This tool got an upgrade to allow you to apply a tag when the tool has been executed to save order or invoice information directly to the contact record.

Typeform Connection

We caught a bug that popped up when users had survey’s with the option “other” that was causing the automations set up to not work appropriately. 

Therefore, we made some updates on the backend to our Typeform Connection that removes that issue. Now, if contacts select “other” in a question, the appropriate tags and automation will occur.

Zoom Connection

Prior to this update, if you were to test your meeting or webinar beforehand – it would fire off the report and tag contacts as unattended. 

Now, there is a part of configuration that allows you to specify the meeting duration in minutes. We’ll use this to determine if it’s the right time to pull the report and initiate the automations.

PlusThis Developer Update- August 31, 2018

Hey PlusThis users! We’re excited to share some developer updates and a new tool that are now live inside the PlusThis library.

If you haven’t already heard about our Calendly Connection, it’s a convenient new tool that allows you to import information from Calendly through PlusThis to save directly into your marketing automation software. Our developers have also made some updates that fix background issues with a few of our popular tools including Email Engagement Triggers and Segment Lists. These updates help our more resource-intensive tools run more effectively.

What’s New:

  • *New Feature* Calendly Connection : Import registration/cancellation information from Calendly which can save to a new or existing contact
    • Ex: A new contact signs up for a consultation, but cancels. PlusThis will get the contact information saved into a new contact record, which you can then trigger specific follow up for.

  • Updates to Email Engagement Triggers and Segment Lists: Fix background issues with these tools to help them run more smoothly with less errors
    • Ex: Run large lists through our tools with a much more reliable process
    • Our developers are currently working on making this same update to our GoToWebinar connection, Zoom Webinar connection, and our Google Sheets Exporter tool.

In the future…

Our developers want to finish off this scheduling series, so they’re currently working on:

  • A GoToMeeting integration
  • Zoom Meeting integration

Hey PlusThis users! We’re excited to share some great feature updates and a brand new tool that are now live inside the PlusThis library.

The updates give a fresh spin on some of our tools such as File Box Uploader, Set Fields, and Simple Email Survey, and our brand new tool that allows you to trigger follow-up based on how a field compares to another. Sound interesting?

What’s New:

  • File Box Uploader and Google Drive Uploader: Adding a redirect after you upload a file
    • Ex: Customer goes through sequence of steps such as uploading a headshot and filling out a form, and then is redirected to a thank you page through redirect link
  • Set Fields *Now available on ActiveCampaign*: Sets a field to a value you type or copy from another field
    • Ex: Move information from one field to another or set it to a static value
  • Simple Email Survey: Ability to archive answers
    • Ex: Question in survey was updated, but previous answer was archived with response so it is not lost
  • Compare Fields *New Feature*: Ability to trigger automation based on how different fields compare to eachother
    • Ex: Track dynamic numbers by setting a goal in one field and compare it (equal to/not equal to, less than/greater than, contains/does not contains) to another field; tag is applied if outcome is true
