Feature Overview

Math provides the ability to do calculations based on values in custom fields in your CRM. Useful for calculating times a contact has done a specific action, calculating values that normally would require a worker to do, and provide sums or differences for balances due or contracts for contacts.

How to set up the Feature

 

  1. Select a choice from the drop down list. If you would like to use a custom value, type it in when the box appears. If you would like to use a value in a custom field another drop down will populate and you can select or add a custom field to use. If you do not have a field already created in Infusionsoft, you can create one through PlusThis in your Infusionsoft, just select “Add New field” and inside of the pop up create a new field.
  2. Select a math function ( + , – , x , / ) Select if you would like the first field or custom value to be added, subtracted from, divided, or multiplied by the second field or custom value.
  3. Select a choice from the drop down list. If you would like to use a custom value, type it in when the box appears. If you would like to use a value in a custom field another drop down will populate and you can select or add a custom field to use. If you do not have a field already created in Infusionsoft, you can create one through PlusThis in your Infusionsoft, just select “Add New field” and inside of the pop up create a new field.
  4. If you would like to apply additional calculations, click the “+ Additional calculation” and repeat steps 1-3.
  5. Select or create a field to store the final result of the calculations. If you do not have a field already created in Infusionsoft, you can create one through PlusThis in your Infusionsoft, just select “Add New field” and inside of the pop up create a new field.
  6. Name and Save your feature
  7. PlusThis will provide you a URL for an HTTP post. Place this in your campaign into an HTTP post at the point when you would like Math calculation to take place

This feature is not available for Ontraport.

Implementation Guide

To implement this feature, paste the Feature URL in a HTTP Post inside of your campaign. Ensure that you place the HTTP Post at the point where you want the feature to fire.

This feature is not available for Ontraport.

To implement this feature inside of Drip. Add PlusThis as a Drip Integration. You can then select PlusThis as the action, and from the dropdown you can select the PlusThis feature you’ve created.

What do I put in the HTTP Post Name/Value pair?
