New Tool: Decision Maker

Our latest tool allows you to easily apply tags on contacts based on tags, fields, dates, statuses, and tag counts.

For example, you could use this to apply a “bonus delivery” for the first ten people to buy.

Or you could use this to trigger a tag to apply automation if an email or phone field is missing.

Or, you could use this to simplify your automations by more options than just “yes” or “no.”

If you’ve ever wanted a simpler or easier way to apply automation, this tool is for you.

Here’s How it Works

Select A Tag You Want Applied

PlusThis integrates with Keap/Infusionsoft, ActiveCampaign, Drip, Ontraport and HubSpot. When you first open the Decision Maker tool, it will allow you to pick any tags you’ve created in your marketing CRM.

Don’t have a tag already created? No problem. You can click on the plus sign to create a tag in your CRM from the PlusThis interface.

Set Your Conditions

Next, you can pick which conditions you want to set in order for the tag to be applied.

Here are the different ways you can apply tags.

  1. Field Value: Pick a field and then have tag applied based on a value you compare to the field. The tag will be applied if the field equals, doesn’t equal, is higher, is lower, is empty, contains, or doesn’t contain that value.
  2. Tags: You can pick which tags you want Decision Maker to check for. If someone has those tags, they will have the tag applied.
  3. Email Status: You can use this condition to apply a tag based on opt-outs, bounces, single opt-ins, and double opt-ins.
  4. Date: This will apply a tag based on set dates or dates in fields.
  5. Number of Records With a Tag: You can apply tags if the number of contacts with a certain tag is greater than, less than, equal, or not equal to a certain number.

Choose When To Trigger the Decision Maker

Decision Maker is triggered from a webhook or html snippet in your marketing CRM.

Announcing Email Parser Beta

PlusThis is now ready to start opening up access to our newest tool, Email Parser.

Email Parsing is helpful if you often have wanted to take information or fields from an email and have those copied and stored in your marketing CRM.

For example, let’s say you are a realtor. You post your listings on multiple listing sites like Zillow. A little later, people start showing interest in your properties, and Zillow sends you a notification with the person’s name, email, phone, zip code, etc.

Normally, the realtor would need to manually copy the name, phone, and other information into their CRM so they could track the sales process and have follow-up go out.

However, with the new PlusThis Email Parser, you can have this email come in, as usual, it goes through the PlusThis Email Parser template you set up, and finds any of the fields you want to copy and store in your CRM.

This is an automated process that can save countless hours depending on your needs.

The other great thing about this tool is that it can be flexible to work with almost any service that sends you an email.

Due to the nature of this tool, each service may have different ways their emails are read by our tools. So we’re opening up the Email Parser in Beta so we can start having more customers connect their tools to this platform. This way we can make sure our parser is reading your email templates correctly and you can automate your processes in confidence.

Email Parser is available in PlusThis for Keap and Infusionsoft. If you run into any questions or need us to look at specifically building a template for a particular email you want parsed, please email bryce@plusthis.com.

Typeform Feature 3

New Tool: Typeform Connection

We’re excited to share more information about our newest tool, Typeform Connection.

Typeform Connection is designed to help you connect your Typeform Surveys with your CRM (Infusionsoft/Keap, ActiveCampaign, Ontraport, Drip or HubSpot).

This could be anything from simple customer surveys to robust lead quizzes.

Here’s How it Works

Create Your Typeform Survey

Before you set up your PlusThis Typeform Connection, you’ll want to create your survey in Typeform. Our Typefrom Connection is compatible with a number of question types including: Multiple Choice, Phone Number, Short and Long Text, Picture Choice, Yes/No and Email.

Configure Tags and Custom Fields

Once your survey is ready, you can connect to it with PlusThis to apply tags to contacts that answer questions a certain way.

You can also store responses to your survey questions to any custom fields you select.

Share Your Survey

PlusThis will automatically start adding contacts, updating tags, and storing results in custom fields.

It’s that easy.
